Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!

For me, the first two Ghostbusters movies are like real madeleines de Proust. I regularly enjoy watching them because I like everything about them and they make me feel good. They are on my list of “feel-good movies”.

By the way, Bill Murray often appears in these movies, and I really like this actor.

A few years ago, in April 2018 to be precise, I imagined and created for fun what the official Ghostbusters website might have looked like back in 1984.

It’s a small website consisting of a few pages, briefly presenting the activities of the famous New York company and its renowned ghost hunters: Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore.

After doing some research on the internet to gather information and photos, I crafted a small mock-up (at the time, I was using Sketch), and I used this project as an opportunity to try out and learn Webflow, a visual website builder.

Thus, after a few hours of work, I was proud to have successfully completed my project and to be able to navigate the Ghostbusters website!

It was a very pleasant and fun project to work on. Working on a topic I enjoy is always motivating for me. In this case, I was mainly driven by three things: a cherished movie, the desire to design something, and nostalgia. I’m also glad to have the skills that allow me to bring such ideas to life.
