Night City Wanderer – Part 6: Farewell, Night City
My last post from the “Night City Wanderer” series dates back to February 19th, almost five months ago. For the record, a few days later, I finished the game (the main quest and a lot of the side ones), and during that last session of the game, I took several pictures of my wanderings, like I was used to, in order to share them in what was supposed to be three separate posts. Yet, the photos were gathering dust, so to speak, in a folder on my Desktop for all this time. Instead of letting them take up space on my screen and keep postponing the writing and publishing of those three posts, I decided to gather all the photos in this final post.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a blast. The atmosphere, the many references to pop culture, the gameplay, the story, the characters… It had been a long time since a game hooked me like that. It’s also quite a time-consuming game. I spent a bit more than 80 hours in the game in three weeks. And as often, when I start something I tend to dive deeply into it, at the risk of neglecting other activities and hobbies. So, I might give it another try, one day, to play another character (a girl, Corpo or Street Kid), but not in the near future.
